I'm currently working at Workato—a software company that offers an enterprise automation platform—where I manage the company's blog ("The Connector"). This involves ideating and executing an SEO-driven content strategy, organizing the editorial calendar, editing content by colleagues, and collaborating with the C-suite or with subject matter experts on pieces related to the company (e.g. new product release).
Beyond the blog, I also support the content needs of our partner team, and I often edit the copy that goes out in other channels, like social media.
My aims for any piece of content are twofold: to deliver on its goals for the business, and to improve the reader's personal/ professional life. I've often accomplished these objectives by:
